We offer a variety of classes and workshops for all levels, from beginners to experienced sewists. 

Our friendly instructors are passionate about sharing their knowledge and helping you create beautiful projects. 

We have classes on quilting, bag making, and more.

Adult Learn To Sew Classes 2026 

Learn from Liz Elliot at Patchwork on Pallas — a sewing expert with 30 years of experience boasting her own pattern design and drafting business. Classes are limited to 6 people to ensure plenty of space, support, and personalised guidance, perfect for beginners or those returning to sewing.

 

Join our 8-week sewing course (8 x 2.5hr classes) where you’ll create, elastic-waist pants and a beginner-friendly top.

• Absolute beginners are welcome, with fabric samples provided.
• Bring or purchase your own fabric,
• A basic sewing kit, and your own sewing machine — all available at Patchwork on Pallas if needed to be purchased.

$280.00pp including tea, coffee & biscuits.

 

We are offering two class dates & time slots for working and non-working students:

 

Option One:

Wednesdays - 1.30pm - 4pm Commencing Wednesday 10 February 2026

Option Two:

Tuesdays - 6.30pm - 9pm Commencing Tuesday 9 February 2026

Master Your OverLocker 2026

This class has been designed for ladies that own an overlocker who fear it, struggle to thread it, or need clarity on how to get the best out of it for their sewing projects. 

First class is Saturday 7 March 2026.     

They will be run monthly on a Saturday.

TIME: 12.30pm - 3pm.

COST: $40.00 per person per class 

SKILL LEVEL: Open

SUPPLIES: Your own overlocker, basic sewing kit, notebook & pen.

Bookings are required 5 days prior to class.

 

Liz Elliot will be teaching these classes, with 30 years experience, she’ll have you threading and using your overlocker with confidence in no time.
